Learn how to create a vintage red Christmas truck pillow. With written instructions, photos, and a graph to help you create your own.

I designed the vintage red Christmas truck pattern back in 2016. At that time, I ran an old blog that focused on various DIY crafts and home decor ideas.

When I started this one, I began adding some of my old patterns. This way, I had content on my new blog after rebranding. It was a really exciting transition for me. I originally created this pattern because I absolutely loved the vintage red truck look. It always reminded me of simpler times. It brought back nostalgic holiday memories.

My dad also had some old red vintage truck decorations around the house. He’s a big car guy when it comes to classics. This only fueled my appreciation for that aesthetic. I remember growing up and watching him work tirelessly on so many old cars. He was always fixing them up. I even had the chance to see him drag race some of them at local events. It was a thrilling experience that instilled in me a love for all things vintages and automotive.

I initially created the vintage red Christmas truck pattern for my home as a couch decoration for Christmas. We didn’t have much Christmas decor at that time. I started making some things to fill that void. But I eventually gifted them to my dad instead. I hoped he would enjoy them more. He still uses it every day. He often reminisces about our shared love for those classic cars and the memories they bring back.

I truly hope you’ve loved this pattern! Did you create the vintage red Christmas truck pillow? If so, I’d be thrilled if you shared it on my Facebook and Instagram. Assemble

Line the front and back pillow pieces together. Use stitch markers to hold them together. This will keep them in line while you crochet in each stitch around. When you come to a corner piece add 2 sc to the top side and 2 into the side piece. 4 in total at each corner.  Leave a gap so you can stuff your pillow then sc the remaining stitches.
